I chose this sketch from Amber's sketchbook because I really enjoyed how she created the shadow. It was done when we did the sketches during class and I think she portrayed the shadow very well for the limited time we had to work on it.
I chose this self portrait for obvious reasons. He clearly spent a lot of time on this and used the shadow on his face in an interesting way. I want to learn to used shadow and shading as well as he does and use it in future sketches.
All of my sketches were done in different values of pencil. This is a detailed drawing of my wood system project that was done on October 24th. I drew it while I was in studio at my table using a straight edge.
This is a self portrait that I drew on November 1st. I drew it from a picture that I had on my computer that someone took of me and it took me about twenty-thirty minutes. I thought I drew my teeth well in this and probably spent the most time on them.
